Threaded Pipe Fittings: Understanding BSP vs. NPT Standards
Welcome to our comprehensive range of premium threaded fittings, engineered for high performance across marine, industrial, and plumbing systems. Built from top-tier brass, bronze, and nickel-plated materials, our fittings deliver maximum corrosion resistance, strength, and long-lasting durability. Whether you are plumbing a saltwater marine cooling circuit, an industrial compressed air line, or a domestic water network, our precision-engineered connectors guarantee a secure, leak-free seal in the most demanding environments.
The Golden Rule: BSP vs. NPT
When building or upgrading your fluid transfer system, choosing the correct thread standard is critical to prevent dangerous leaks and cross-threading damage.
  • BSP (British Standard Pipe): This is the standard used across Europe, Asia, Australia, and worldwide marine applications. BSP threads have a 55-degree angle shape.
  • NPT (National Pipe Thread): This is the standard used primarily in the United States and Canada. NPT threads have a 60-degree angle shape.
Important Notice for Our Customers: Because BSP and NPT have different thread shapes, angles, and pitch spacing, they will not screw together correctly. Forcing an NPT fitting into a BSP port (or vice versa) will ruin the threads and cause your system to leak. Always check your equipment specifications before ordering.

Key Features
  • True BSP Standards: Precision-cut threads engineered for flawless integration with British Standard Pipe systems.
  • Heavy-Duty Construction: High-grade brass, bronze, or nickel-plated options provide essential resistance to saltwater and harsh chemicals.
