- BSP (British Standard Pipe): This is the standard used across Europe, Asia, Australia, and worldwide marine applications. BSP threads have a 55-degree angle shape.
- NPT (National Pipe Thread): This is the standard used primarily in the United States and Canada. NPT threads have a 60-degree angle shape.
Important Notice for Our Customers: Because BSP and NPT have different thread shapes, angles, and pitch spacing, they will not screw together correctly. Forcing an NPT fitting into a BSP port (or vice versa) will ruin the threads and cause your system to leak. Always check your equipment specifications before ordering.
